Benign Skin Lesions
Benign skin lesions such as skin tag, common warts, seborrheic keratosis, angioma, pyogenic granuloma can be a troublesome and cosmetic concern. In areas such as the facial skin of a male, this can interfere with shaving. These are usually asymptomatic. Such skin lesions can be removed as a day case procedure that can be performed under local anaesthetic. The patients are able to go home after few hours and can normally return to work immediately. Small lesions can also be chemically ablated usually with silver nitrate contact burn.
